How cashless treatment works
- Bring your card and ID
Health insurance card or policy number, or your CGHS / WBHS / ESI card, plus Aadhaar or another photo ID.
- Consultation and estimate
The retina specialist confirms the treatment; you get an itemised estimate.
- Pre-authorisation
Our insurance desk sends the request to your insurer or TPA, or completes scheme formalities.
- Treatment
Once approved, the procedure is done. You pay only non-covered items, if any.
- Discharge papers
You receive the discharge summary, bills and reports for your records.
What is usually covered
- Vitrectomy and retinal detachment surgery
- Scleral buckle and macular hole surgery
- Intravitreal injections (anti-VEGF, Ozurdex) as day-care
- Retinal laser (PRP, barrage)
- Pre-operative tests and scans linked to the procedure
Coverage depends on your policy or scheme. OPD consultations and scans alone are often not covered by insurance unless your policy has OPD benefits.
