Dr. Ananyabrata Das founded Spectra Eye Hospital in 2001 and is its Director. He studied medicine at Nilratan Sircar Medical College and ophthalmology at the Regional Institute of Ophthalmology, Kolkata (DO, 1992), and has practised since 1989.
Alongside cataract, LASIK and glaucoma care, he has a 20-year medical retina practice: diabetic retinopathy, age-related macular degeneration and uveitis. He was an observer at Moorfields Eye Hospital, London, in 2005. He also has a private chamber in Dum Dum; details are on eyedoctorkolkata.com.
